It does and I can get on with the important stuff taking the funds back down to $4,026 after buying all the building and thus rebuilding the Madness Chain.

First thing was to head to the large very spacious toddler empty library. Vincenzi and Dallas get into a slap fight before Vincenzi speaks his madness to Dallas. Verlaine is just grumpy he’s not causing the trouble.
By 18.20 Rose Rome has called Inspector of Inquitities Walsh up to dig up some dirt on Roger Rao who she suspects has been hacking into the library computer system. This case boosts her up to a Flat-footed Investigation Specialist (9)
Rose is not Dallas’ boss in this hood.
Isn’t it cool Verlaine stole it from Pearl Inkbeard who very kindly invited him over after his first day at school. This is how he repays her.
And in case you were wondering, some of the ghosts have been out, and a couple of the gnomes have poofed already. 😀
Vincenzi joins the working class, and with only 2 votes/12% of the voted he is unceremoniously kicked out. He quickly moves into a sweet looking one bedroom bungalow across town.

So in case you hadn’t gathered the heir poll is now closed, and I’ve set it hide the results just to keep you in a little bit of suspense, although you’ve probably all realised who the heir will be anyway.
And yes all non-family members in the picture we’re met on Sunday and Monday. Well Walsh’s investigative skills are very highly in demand here in Barnacle Bay.
A guest at party goes into labour and freaks everyone out.
Flippers here goes and gets arrested, she tricks me into thinking she’s home by sleeping in someone else’s bed.
Tip the Coastel’s house has a mammoth garden including the coveted Life Fruit.
This stakeout elevates Walsh to the prized Private Eye status. Yay another career down. Nicely balances out the police visit.
Like any good Investigator she finishes her current case first.
Voltaire and Verlaine show a creative streak. Voltaire is at level 4 and now wants to be a journalist. Verlaine is at level 3.
Next stop is the stylist career. Hopefully she’ll be able to do this just by gaining art skill, and hopefully before the heir takes over. But just in case there will be a few makeover parties in case it helps.
A bit of castle wall, and a flowered fence thing are added to the theft list.
Virgil entertains the makeover party’s guests. He’s not totally evil. Walsh gets her first promotion on Day 1. She needs to get at least 2 promotions a day though. So if I add an easel to the library that will help slightly.
oh pants it’s error 12 again. Thankfully it’s only lost a day seeing as I saved just after Walsh reached level 10.
Chanda would appear to be a good snake charmer.
Meet Verlain’s crush Celeste Gilscarbo. She’ll put some interesting genes into the pool should Verlain be the heir. Besides she seems nice. If only she wasn’t so much younger than him. Well maybe he can wait a bit before marrying her should he be heir.

I’m going to be starting a blog soon… my very first one! I just need to decide what kind of challenge I wanna do… thing is I’m clueless on how to do it! Think anyone would be available for questions and/or help?? I was thinking of doing one of 3 challenges… either a Black Widow challenge, a Family Man challenge or a Polygamy Challenge.

I have never attempted any of those challenges myself. Best bet is to use google and see if you can find help threads about them, I beleive modthesims has topics about them all with players comments. They do sound like fun challenges though. I advise a lot of public building woohoo seeing as you need lower relationships level and it helps build relationships quickly.
Blogs tend to be pretty simple to use. I think blogger and wordpress are simplest, live journal from my memory was a nightmare to use, but just ask if you want help and I will email you back if that is ok.

BB is great to play, it’s just a shame it’s so hard to place new lots in, especially for movie career.
